You must

• plan to come to Australia just for a visit
• possess sufficient funds for your time in Australia not be employed in Australia
• you need to be outside Australia during both your application and the time decision regarding your visa is made

Eligibility criteria

• You must meet the health requirement.
• You must meet the character requirement.
• If you owe the Australian government money, you must have paid it back, or have arranged to pay it back.
• You must have, or have access to, enough money to support yourself while you are in Australia.
• This visa is not granted if it is not in the best interests of an applicant under 18.
